Ms. Howerton has held key positions at Presto Products, Inc., State of North Carolina and the O'Neil Associates, Inc.

Ms. Howerton has been involved with the Training & Development industry and has held several critical positions that prepared her to found The Howerton Consulting Group. CEO Brenda Howerton, long known as an accomplished coach has, over the years also developed a reputation of tenacity to go along the enthusiasm that marked the firm's early success. She has consulted with companies as large as Rolls-Royce, US Environmental Protection Agencies, North Carolina Central University, etc. She has been interviewed by CBS Sunday Morning and quoted by major newspaper outlets (Durham Morning Herald, Greensboro News & Record, Washington Post) and numerous other publications.

Ms. Howerton belongs to numerous community-based organizations and is very active in the local community. She has the ability to create personally tailored experiential training and materials that speaks to all levels of management and staff that has been the hallmark throughout her career.

Ms. Howerton received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from Shaw University and holds numerous certificates of certification in her current profession/vocation. Ms. Howerton makes her home in Durham, North Carolina USA and is the CEO of Howerton Consulting Group.

Ms. Howerton's political experience consistr of two terms Elected Soil & Water District Supervisor. Her community affliations consist of the following: Human Relations Commissioner, Political Chair NAACP, Treasurer of Tarleton West Homeowner Association, Chair of Durham Million Man March Victim Assistance, Member of NC State Victim Assistance, Durham (CAN) Congregation, Association and Neighborhood
